Executive Chef Prabhash Prabhakaran
Born in Kerala, Chef Prabhash learnt traditional Indian cooking techniques and culinary secrets from his grandmother. He began his career with Taj hotels across India, before relocating to Dubai’s Jumeirah Emirates Towers and The Chedi Muscat in Oman thereafter. Working alongside Michelin-starred chefs, his horizons broadened to encompass regional Indian, Thai, Asian fusion, Arab, Italian, Mediterranean and European cuisines, culminating in a marriage of authentic home cooking and fine global flavours.
Senior Wine Guru Arunkumar Tamilselvan
Hailing from India, Arunkumar Tamilselvan is the Senior Wine Guru at the resort and his thirst for knowledge fuels his love for wine and wine making.
Director of Food and Beverage Hamzath Abdulla
Maldivian native Hamzath Abdulla is young, passionate and worldly. A graduate of The Maldives National University’s Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Studies, he has spent the last 15 years working in luxury resorts around the world, from Cape Town to the UK. Hamzath has a flair for fine dining and exclusive events, from underwater wine tastings to Michelin-starred chef dinners overwater. Working at Anantara Kihavah fulfils a life-long dream, and he loves his team’s dedication and pursuit of excellence.
