Eco Responsible Solutions

Waste Management

Reducing waste is an essential part of how we operate. We sort glass, paper, cardboard, plastic, light bulbs, batteries, bottle caps and ink cartridges for recycling.

Our teams are regularly made aware of the importance of reducing waste and consuming more thoughtfully. They are trained in sorting procedures to ensure that every action contributes to more responsible waste management.

Zero Plastic Initiative

To move toward more sustainable growth, we have eliminated plastic straws, bottles and room key cards. Keys are now made of wood, allowing us to eliminate the production of around 25,000 plastic cards per year.

We also encourage our teams and guests to adopt simple habits that help reduce plastic consumption. We work with Frederic Malle, a company that provides large-format, environmentally friendly amenities that support a more sustainable approach to hospitality.

Water Management

Responsible water management is at the heart of our commitments. Our bathrooms are equipped with flow reducers, and faucets in public areas are sensor-operated to limit consumption. Our teams monitor the metres daily to detect any anomalies. We also limit towel washing to save water, while still allowing guests to request a change if needed. These measures help us preserve this essential resource while ensuring a comfortable and responsible stay.

Energy Management

As part of our energy-saving approach, our establishment is fully equipped with LED lighting. In private areas, motion sensors have been installed to prevent energy waste. We invest in the most efficient equipment and ensure that all devices are turned off when not in use.

Sustainable Food Sourcing

At Anantara Plaza Nice, we are committed to reducing food waste and overconsumption. During our events, we focus on live cooking to prepare dishes on demand and avoid overproduction. We also select products from sustainable, certified sources, including eggs, fish, and free-range chicken. This approach allows us to minimise our environmental impact while ensuring impeccable quality.
Local Artisans

Our Artisan Cabinet Maker

In the heart of the French Riviera's hinterland lies the historic workshop of Guillaume Duboscq in Tourrettes-sur-Loup. This is where our wooden trays are crafted with respect for material and tradition, and with a precious artisanal expertise.

Local Fishmongers

Our sea bass and gilthead bream come directly from fishermen in Cannes. By choosing local, ultra-fresh catches, we support coastal fishing while reducing transportation. This collaboration allows us to offer high-quality products that are responsibly caught and that reflect the expertise of our Cannes neighbours.

Sustainable Uniforms

We collaborate with the local brand Noliju for our therapists’ uniforms. Their garments are made from recycled and non-toxic fabrics, including fibres recovered from fishing nets. All materials are Oeko-Tex certified, ensuring skin safety and environmental protection. This partnership provides our teams with comfortable, durable and eco-friendly attire.

Local Pastry By The Gusto Family

Our pastries are made by Gusto Family, established on the Riviera and in the heart of Nice since 1973. Far more than a group of restaurants, the group embodies passion, family tradition and love for cooking. Thanks to this local partnership, we offer fresh and authentic products every day, crafted with recognised Niçoise expertise.

Olive Oils And Tapenade From Rémy Rouch

Our olive oils and tapenades are produced in collaboration with Rémy Rouch, a certified Nice AOP olive oil producer, using fresh, ripe Cailletier olives. This harvest ensures a high-quality oil, characteristic of the region. The producers have adopted a collective strategy to enhance and upgrade their olive oil production.
