Hailing from Matale in the central highlands of Sri Lanka, Chef Priyantha’s adventurous palate and voracious appetite for culinary programmes steered his path to becoming a chef. From early beginnings at Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi, he crossed the desert to our sister property, Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara, where he stayed for almost a decade before bringing his culinary repertoire to Anantara Kalutara Resort.
Behind every dining experience at Acquolina lies Chef Priyantha’s commitment to exceptional standards, from preparation to presentation of homemade pastas, pizzas and authentic dishes from the Italian coastline. His versatile skills and unwavering standards see him move from kitchen to kitchen around the resort as our Executive Chef’s right-hand man.
