Wadi Al Bawaarid Hike
Venture out to the spectacular Wadi Al Bawaarid, which means ‘cold water’ in Arabic.
Take a 20-minute drive to Siaq before descending down a natural fossil staircase. Behold an impressive rocky valley filled with natural caves and seasonal pools. Marvellous rock formations dot the scene as you glimpse frogs, small fish and dragonflies. Hike along the river bed to a picturesque picnic spot as swallows dart and glide along the valley. Your local guide will lead you to abandoned houses over 100 years old and soldier burial sites. Lunch in the cool of a shaded cave with remarkable mountain views.
