Executive Chef Manuel Navarro Mena
A Málaga native, Manuel Navarro Mena grew up learning cooking and butchery, and making preserves and cheeses. With a clear vocation and a passion for local, seasonal produce, Manuel worked his way from serving and dishwashing to cooking at iconic dining destinations including Restaurante El Paraíso and Restaurante Antonio.Making the leap to hotels, he underwent training at the Hotel Princesa Sofia Cordoba and the Ritz Carlton in Barcelona. He represented the cuisine of his home at the Hispanic Heritage Gala in Kuwait and Anantara Jabal Akhdar Resort’s Gastronomic Week. Now, at Anantara Villa Padierna, he’s proud to present a menu of fresh, local and seasonal ingredients.
