This is our first time in Bangkok and it’s been fabulous. We were picked up by the hotel with the Mercedes at the airport. Super easy transport with a good driver and easy check-in. The pool is absolutely fabulous and usually near empty. The breakfast buffet has what I considered to be the best food we’ve experienced in Bangkok. Theshuttle boat makes transport really easy. We have not used a wheeled transportation device in our five days in Bangkok. The thing that really makes the stay so wonderful though is the people they are experts in hospitality, graciousness and kindness. A special thank you to gentleman in Pool area and all the breakfast staff. We check out tomorrow morning to head to an island and the resort has arranged for our pick up. It’s been a great experience.

For my one night stay, this hotel was very good. I liked in particular the location by the river, the nice decor, the outstanding breakfast, and the shuttle boat. The room was nice and comfortable, too. For a longer stay, I wouldn't consider the Anantara because it is quite popular with tour groups and thus too busy for me. In addition, it really is on the expensive side.

Due to the typhoon, the itinerary has changed. Thank you very much to the reservation team for your assistance in minimizing the impact. The service staff I encountered during this stay were all very friendly, but unfortunately, due to renovations, the room had a very strong odor. Also encountered some issues with the room lock, and in the end, I had to change rooms to resolve it.
