Are pets allowed at Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara?
Yes, we welcome dogs and cats in designated rooms and villas.
Which accommodations are pet-friendly?
Selected ground floor rooms and villas are designated for pet stays. Suites and above are recommended for added space and comfort.
Is prior notice required when travelling with pets?
Yes, a minimum of 24 hours’ prior notice is required.
Is there a limit on the number of pets per room?
A maximum of two pets per room or villa is permitted.
Are there any size or breed restrictions?
Pets up to 35 kg are accepted. Certain breeds may be restricted in line with safety guidelines. Service animals are exempt from size limitations.
Are there any additional charges for pets?
Currently, no standard pet fee applies. However, guests are responsible for any damage or additional cleaning if required.
What requirements must pets meet?
All pets must be fully vaccinated, microchipped, and in good health, with valid documentation upon request.
Where are pets allowed within the resort?
Pets are permitted in designated rooms, villas, and selected outdoor areas only.
Are there areas where pets are not allowed?
Yes, pets are not permitted in pools, restaurants, indoor dining areas, spa, gym, or food preparation areas.
Do pets need to be supervised?
Pets may be left unattended inside the room or villa. However, they must remain supervised at all times while in permitted outdoor areas across the resort.
Do pets need to be on a leash or in a carrier?
Dogs must be on a leash at all times, while cats must remain in a carrier when outside the room or villa.
What pet amenities are provided?
The resort provides food and water bowls (single-use), litter boxes (for cats), and access to a dedicated pet walking route.
Do you offer pet-sitting or grooming services?
Currently, pet-sitting and grooming services are not available.
Is there a pet deposit required?
No deposit is required; however, guests remain fully responsible for their pet during the stay.
