Explore the Rub’ Al Khali with a guided desert walk as you learn about the area’s history, heritage, flora and fauna. For a truly mystical experience, embark on a walk at night, and watch the moonlight dance on the dunes.

Discover the Middle East’s centuries-old equestrian passion and traverse the Liwa desert on horseback. As flame-coloured dunes surround you, you will leave with a memorable experience that has been tailored to suit your ability.

Thrill-seeking guests aged 14 and upwards are invited to take their pick from different treks and explore the awe-inspiring beauty of the desert on a fat bike. As the only bicycle that has been designed for sand dunes, the fat bike is perfect for experienced  and amateur riders alike

Follow in the footsteps of the Liwa tribesmen and try your hand at archery. Featuring static targets set for different shooting ranges, this activity is suitable  for adults and children over the age of eight. Our Archery sessions happen frequently throughout the day and take around 90 minutes to complete.

Marvel at the UAE’s ancient sport of falconry and Saluki hunting. Starring the cultural symbol of the region, falcons, and the country’s long-time hunting companions, the agile Saluki, this live show includes a demonstration of hunting techniques and engaging stories.

The show featuring Saluki dogs is currently unavailable during summer. 

Quick and easy to learn, Padel is an ideal sport for all ages and suitable for casual matches between friends or families as it is played in doubles. 

Improve your Padel skill at our court, with an expansive desert view, and enjoy a little competition during your stay.

Three shaded tennis courts are also floodlit for nighttime play. All equipment is provided with our compliments.

Our state-of-the-art gym overlooks the world’s largest sand desert. Stay in shape with cardiovascular and strength training machines, as well as a range of free weights.

Engage in a sand volleyball challenge with your family or fellow guests in our brand new desert volleyball field.

Our new giant games area in the desert sand provides fun for the whole family. Whether an advanced chess match or a game of jenga, our giant games field provides all of that with our compliments.
