YOUNG EXPLORERS

A Journey of Discovery, Adventure & Stewardship

Our Mini Rangers (4–7 years) take their first steps into adventure with gentle wildlife encounters and interactive lessons that spark curiosity. For Junior Adventurers (8–12 years), the island becomes an open classroom filled with hands-on exploration and sustainability challenges that inspire a deeper connection to the environment. Meanwhile, Teen Trailblazers (13–16 years) dive into more dynamic activities — from conservation-focused tasks to cultural immersions — empowering them to lead with confidence and purpose. Across all three programmes, young guests embark on a meaningful journey as they grow into the next generation of explorers.

Mini Rangers

The Mini Rangers Programme welcomes curious children aged 4–7 into a world of movement and imagination. Through games that introduce them to the animal world, little explorers discover how cheetahs sprint, how birds communicate, and how creatures leave signs in the sand.

As they dress up, move, and create, children build balance, coordination, and confidence. Each activity transforms the outdoors into a space for creative learning, helping young guests form their first connection with wildlife while fostering their own sense of curiousity and joy.

Junior Adventurers

Designed for curious minds and bold spirits aged 8-12, the Young Explorers Programme under our Junior Adventurers Programme invites children on an action-packed journey of discovery, leadership, and fun. Guided by expert rangers, young adventurers track wildlife like real explorers, tackle island survival missions using teamwork and smart decision-making, protect precious marine ecosystems, and uncover the secrets of ancient island traders and cultures. Along the way, they rotate leadership roles, solve exciting challenges, and earn stamps in their explorer passport—building confidence, curiosity, and a sense of responsibility for the world around them. Packed with hands-on adventures, teamwork games, and meaningful discoveries, this immersive programme turns every day into an unforgettable expedition where kids don’t just learn about nature and culture—they lead, protect, and explore it.

Teen Trailblazers

Designed for curious, confident teens ready to step up, the Teen Trailblazers Programme is a high-energy, expedition-style experience that challenges 13-16 year olds to think, lead, and act like future conservation leaders on Sir Bani Yas Island. Guided by expert explorers, participants dive into real-world wildlife research, decode animal tracks, and tackle conservation scenarios, before mastering essential wilderness safety skills, navigation, and emergency planning. Precision archery sharpens focus and self-control, while a final island expedition challenge puts teamwork, leadership, and decision-making to the test through a dynamic mission-planning presentation. Purposeful, immersive, and empowering, Teen Trailblazers is where teens build confidence, earn their certification, and discover what it means to belong to a team that leads with responsibility and respect for nature.
