What time is the transfer arranged from the Airport to Anantara Veli Maldives Resort?
If coming from an international flight, every effort will be made to arrange your resort transfer within 2 hours of arriving at the lounge. Transfers timings are confirmed the night prior to your arrival.
Anantara Veli Maldives Resort is 21 km from Velana International Airport. The speedboat transfers take 30 minutes (Subject to the weather conditions).
What is the best season to visit Anantara Veli Maldives Resort?
The Maldives is a tropical island country with two distinct and well defined seasons. November to April is the best time to travel to the Maldives when the sun shines for hours each day with the rainfall at it's minimum level. Northeast monsoon presides over a wet season that lasts from May to October which provides a noticeable contrast of the period from the rest of the year.
When is the best time to surf in Anantara Veli Maldives Resort?
Like other surf resort in the Maldives, the peak surf season is from April to October when the winds are from the west and swell is from the south east. From November to March, we organise trips to North Male Atoll where waves are stronger, however swell is less consistent.
