Saddle up and spend the day exploring the scenic trails that crisscross the surrounding landscape. Or brush up on your form at the nearby equestrian club in Shuanglong. Trot or gallop, set your own tempo, a fine way to enjoy cool mountain breezes and awe-inspiring panoramas.

As well as boasting China’s largest waterfall at Huangguoshu, the Guizhou landscape offers a plethora of natural discoveries to be made.
Explore a stalagmite-punctuated labyrinth of caves at Longgong, the Dragon Palace, the nation’s longest and the largest water cave. Make a pilgrimage to Mount Fanjing, a UNESCO biosphere with breathtaking rock formations, and a sacred Buddhist site.
