From 1 May 2022, Thailand Pass applications for quarantine-free travel with no pre-travel RT-PCR tests are open for fully vaccinated travellers from all countries.
Travellers must:
- Be fully vaccinated with an approved vaccine at least 14 days before arrival. *
- Complete the Thailand Pass registration process.
- Have medical insurance with minimum coverage of USD 10,000. **
* Not required for children under 12.
** Not required for Thai nationals and expats covered under public health system.
Unvaccinated Travellers
From 1 May 2022, unvaccinated travellers must satisfy the following conditions:
- Complete the Thailand Pass registration process.
- Have a pre-paid five-night reservation at an Alternative Quarantine hotel.
- Have medical insurance with minimum coverage of USD 10,000. *
- Receive a COVID-19 RT-PCR test on Day 5**
Once negative test result is received on Day 5, traveller is free to travel anywhere in Thailand.
* Not required for Thai nationals or expats qualified for national healthcare scheme.
** Test is at traveller’s expense.
EXCEPTION: Unvaccinated travellers who are able to upload proof of a negative RT-PCR test within 72 hours of travel via the Thailand Pass system will be allowed entry and are free to go anywhere in the kingdom.
