Anantara Hoi An Resort’s Cluster Executive Chef Vinh Tran will be joined by Chef Hugo Thizy from Paris-based luxury catering house Boulotte and they will be presenting an exquisite menu inspired by both French and Vietnamese culinary excellence.
Hugo is a passionate chef who channels produce into simple, genuine and elegant cuisine, designed to bring people together.
Boulotte is renowned for creating sophisticated dining experiences highlighting the richness of French cuisine, focusing on exceptional seasonal ingredients, artisanal techniques and high-quality produce.
Chef Vinh was born and raised in Hoi An and his ultimate dream was to become a chef after spending his childhood exploring the local markets and restaurants looking for new tastes and experiences. His menus are inspired by some of the dishes he grew up with using local ingredients with his own twists, along with creative ideas from his overseas experiences.
The evening’s epicurean journey merges two cultures, quintessentially authentic ingredients and ingenious taste combinations, reflecting the individual chef’s philosophies and each dish carries a story bringing it to life through flavour.
The dishes have been expertly paired with a selection of wines from Wine Cellar and Cellier d’Asie designed to complement the elements of each course.
