Memorable Birthday Stay and Exceptional Hospitality!!
Memorable Birthday Stay – Exceptional Hospitality! My stay in Room 120 at Anantara Desaru (16–18 Oct) was unforgettable. The staff are incredibly polite, always smiling, and take great pride in their work. When my luggage handle broke, reception immediately sent someone to repair it. To celebrate my belated birthday, they surprised me with a delicious creamy chocolate cake. The amazing housekeeping team—Rahan, Shepona, and Sofio—also beautifully decorated my bed with flowers, birthday wishes in leaves, and an elephant towel folding. I was overwhelmed with joy! Keep up the excellent job! Highly recommended.
Exceeded expectation
We travelled from Sydney to experience Anantara's hospitality in Desaru and it did not disappoint. The luxury holiday feel was felt from the moment we arrived at Changi airport as we were greeted by our driver Zaid. Our stay exceeded our expectation in every way. From the moment we arrived we were absolutely spoilt by the staff. We were suprised with an upgrade to a two bedroom villa, which we were not expecting at all and so grateful for. The villa was large and included a private pool which I have included a photo. All the staff, including at reception, housekeeping staff, pool staff, at the restaurants and at the spa were all amazing and made us feel special. This is the reason why we keep going back to Anantara. We have been to many Anantara resorts including, Maldives multiple times, Abu Dhabi, both Phuket resorts and the high standard of customer service have all been consistent across the resorts. We would like to especially thank Aunty Shuhada who went above and beyond for our son who was unwell while we were there. She was so kind and caring and always ensured our son had something to eat because he couldn't get to breakfast. We will always remember her. Housekeeping staff were wonderful. Zaid drove us safely to our hotel in Singapore. Thank you Anantara Desaru team for your hospitality, we will always remember our experience.
