Oman Travel Information
From 1 September 2021, fully vaccinated travellers can enjoy quarantine-free international travel to Oman. Find out more about travel requirements for your Oman trip
IMPORTANT: This information may be subject to change at short notice. We recommend that you confirm all requirements with the relevant authorities before proceeding with any travel arrangements.
Pre-arrival & Arrival
Fully vaccinated travellers must register on the Tarrasud+ platform prior to departure and upload the following documents:
- A medical certificate with QR Code showing they have received two doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine.
- A negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before arrival, for flights lasting less than 8 hours;
- A negative PCR test taken no more than 96 hours before arrival, for flights of 8 hours or more. *
* Travellers without a negative PCR test result will be required to take a test on arrival and wear a Tarrasud+ bracelet until receipt of result. In case of a positive result, travellers must quarantine for 10 days.
You are permitted to to travel freely anywhere in Oman once you have met the required entry requirements above.
Travellers will be responsible for satisfying all the requirements for travelling to their next destination. If required, PCR tests are available at the Airport Drive-through and Walk-in facilities, located in P5 car park in Muscat and at Lifeline Hospital Salalah. Results will be sent within 24 hours.
Omani citizens will require health insurance covering COVID-19 valid in the country they are travelling to.
