SNORKELLING ADVENTURES WITH THE WONDERS OF THE INDIAN OCEAN

The ocean’s most graceful creatures.

Known for its thriving marine life, the Maldives is one of the world's most magnificent snorkelling and diving locations. This untouched underwater paradise is home to a rich array of colourful creatures including angel fish, manta ray, parrot fish and clown fish. In addition to the beautiful rainbow of fish, the area has a host of exciting creatures such as dolphins, nurse sharks, whale sharks, turtles and manta rays which can all be enjoyed from the comfort and ease of your snorkel.

Meet the gentle nurse shark, the shy creatures found around the Vaavu Atoll in their dozens and an incredible sight to behold. Up to 14-feet long, the slow moving, low dwelling species are as graceful as they are majestic.

Or witness the whale sharks as they glide gently around their natural habitat. The largest known fish in the sea, this is an unforgettable experience not for the faint-hearted, the shy giants growing up to 32 feet long.

The turtles are another of the wondrous creatures you can see along your journey, in the warm waters they call home. An endangered species, relish this wonderful member of the reptile family in its natural abode as they paddle and wind their way round the reefs.

You can get up close to one of the world's most social species as they play and weave around the ocean’s reefs; the enchanting dolphin. Watch in wonderment as this elegant species frolic and leap, and hear first hand how they communicate through a series of fascinating sounds.

And not to be missed are the manta ray, which you can see as they create an underwater ballet gliding and winding through the water. With a wingspan of around 11 feet, you can soak up the scenes of these giant ‘cloaks’ as they cruise through the oceanic world.
