Yam khang is considered a sacred art, and as such there are only a few practitioners in the world – including here at Anantara Chiang Mai. Taking place in the open overlooking the river, your therapist dips her foot in medicated oil, heats it on an iron ‘khang’ over fire, then massages your body with her foot, relieving pain and releasing blocked energy.
